Mike grew up on the east coast.
He found, at an early age, that drawing was a natural talent and
passion, and he pursued it. Before he could turn 17, people were
buying the pieces that Mike had created; this inspired him to go
professional.
Mike has since worked throughout
the United States - a lot of this time was spent in Las Vegas, Nevada
where he currently resides. He has run his own studios in both the
Sahara and the Dunes. He has worked for a plethora of people with
pieces throughout the world! Mike's art spans the genres, from portraits
to sports to animals to scenery. Mike also does hand painted "sports
memorabilia" for example, painting Barry Sanders on a football
or Mark McGuire on a baseball. It started with baseballs and boxing
gloves, but has grown to a wide vatiety of other mediums, including
footballs, baseball bats, basketballs, tambourines, bassdrum heads,
and even guitars.
Mike is especially proud of the
work he has done for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department;
painting portraits on helmets for the retiring officers, "Hey,
these guys deserve it. I will paint for officers from any town,
city or community."
With a variety of real world experience,
Mike continues to take commissions for nearly everything, including:
Portraits of your favorite famous personality, portraits of fisherman
with their greatest catch, portraits of your long lost pet, portraits
of your grandchildren, portraits of your favorite little league
player or college football player.
Mike hopes to be hearing from you
soon, ready to preserve a memory for decades to come!
